We stop in Rome briefly on our way back home, arriving at the train staion in the early evening and heading to the airport early the next morning. But, there is always time in Rome to visit Trattoria Lilli for a dinner!
We start with bruschetta, followed by classic Italian dishes: tagliolini a cacio e pepe (pecorino romano and black pepper), bucatini all'amatriciana (guanciale, tomato, and pecorino romano), and penne all'arrabbiata (tomato sauce with garlic and chili pepper).

It's been a great two weeks in Italy, staying in Monterosso al Mare and Portoferraio, places to which we'll return!
