Exiting the special exhibitions into the main hall of Musée d'Orsay, we stop to view this incredible building.
We start our viewing of the permanent collection with the impressionist works on the top floor and wind our way down through the building and its fabulous exhibits.
We next move to halls containing post-impressionist works of Gauguin and Van Gogh, including works from their time in Tahiti and îles Marquises.
Then, a little Toulouse-Lautrec and a spin through the rest of the museum.
Leaving the museum, we follow the Seine over to the Tuileries Gardens and walk through on our way to pick up our luggage at the hotel and catch the train to the airport on our last day in France.
It's been a great two weeks in France, but time to go home and plan the next adventure.
