A Day on the Beach in Phillipsburg

We head over to Phillipsburg on the Dutch side (Sint Maartin) to spend a few hours on the fabulous beach.  The island's cruise boat terminal is located in Phillipsburg and we see that three ships will be in today, including the Queen Mary 2.  We rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach and head into the water for a swim.

Soon it's time for lunch and we order fish and shrimp wraps at our beach chairs, along with a bucket of beer (Carib of course).

Then, it's time for more swimming, floating, and paddling in the warm water before we call it a day and drive back to the French side (Saint Martin)

It's been a relaxing day, but cocktails and dinner are calling!
