We take a quick break from our travels in Germany to mention that we just last week went to our first concert in a very long time: Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road concert at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. This is Elton John's final tour and he is [still] incredible. The concert was rescheduled twice, first due to Covid-19 restrictions in 2021 and then due to Elton John actually having Covid-19 this last January.
He treated us to 21 songs over the 2.5 hour (no intermission) concert. Here, in sequence, are a few pictures from the concert as he shared with us scenes and stories of his life in music from childhood piano lessons onward.
